Winter
1944 turn:
No strategic warfare occurs. Germany's useless U-boats sit in the Atlantic with nothing to
attack as the Allies still need no replacements. No one wants to risk their air units in
bombing attacks, preferring instead to save them for ground support in the last battles of
the war.
Germany and the Soviet Union each replace one army.
Comments: The German army is being bled white on the eastern front and soon will have no
reserves left. Rome is under siege. D-Day is imminent. 1944 is the year of decision. The
campaign to crack the Axis' back between the Soviet Hammer and Allied Anvil.
