Winter
1940 turn:
No movement or combat happens during winter turns in this game. Instead, "strategic
warfare" (bombing and U-boat attacks) occurs, replacements are gained, and Axis
allies are rolled for.
There is no strategic warfare this turn since the German navy stayed in port, and no one
has any bombers in range of an enemy capital.
No major powers lost any units, so no replacements are gained.
In an interesting twist on history, Turkey joins the Axis.
Comment: Poland has fallen. The Germans now prepare to turn sitzkrieg into blitzkrieg in
the west.
