Allied Turn
The Americans form a line along the Vesdre river from Verviers to Eupen. The remainder of
the US 30th Inf Div is sent to Liege. The remnant of the US 99th Inf Div stays in
Aywaille. The US 1st Inf Div and parts of the US 9th Arm Div are frozen in place at
Houffalize. Punch and counter punch around Bastogne as the 26th Vg Div is mauled in
another attack mounted by the US 10th Arm Div, US 82nd Abn Div, and 101st Abn Div. The
101st again ends the turn adjacent to Bastogne.
