Pre-game setup, 1939
Description of setup at game start:
The gray units in the image are German forces poised to attack Poland. The German stack
north of Poland are two infantry armies and an air unit in East Prussia. Another two
German infantry armies and an air unit are in the stack south of Poland. The German 4-8
unit to the left (west) of Poland is a panzer army. The three white units clustered in the
center of the image are Polish armies, the one with the letter "G" on it is
defending Warsaw. The brown units at the right (east) edge of the image are Soviet forces.
All succeeding images will show the situation as it stands after the movement phase,
but before combat.
