Setup
The image at right shows only about half of the gameboard map, from the December 16,
1944 front line to a line running approx. from Liege (upper left) to just south of
Bastogne (near lower left). The rest of the map not shown stretches further to the left
(west).
In the image, the line of 19 gray units near the right (east) edge of the map are German -
five panzer divisions, one panzer brigade (Peiper), two parachute divisions, and 11
volksgrenadier infantry divisions. The 14 olive green units are overstretched and
understrength American regiments and divisions.
The top of the map in the images is always north.
Note: All succeeding images will show the situation after unit movement, but
before combat. Yellow arrows will show attacks yet to be made in the combat phase.
