Game Turn 6
Sauron Turn
Sauron uses 9 magic points to cast a Total Eclipse of the Sun spell and succeeds, sending the Orcs into a battle frenzy. The fanatical Orcs charge headlong into the center and west wing of the Alliance army and drive back the entire line, inflicting losses on Men and Elves, and killing half of all the Dwarves. Sauron's slaves now begin to issue from the Gates of Mordor.
Alliance Turn
The Alliance forces absorb the damage from the shock attack by the battle-mad Orcs, and strike back with a vengeance. The Elvish archers arrive in numbers, and combined with the human bowmen, unleash a devastating hail of arrows which caves in the Orcish left flank. Gil-galad, personally leading the Elves, pinches in on the right flank of the Orcs and wipes out another unit.
