Game Turn 9
In the initial magic leader phase, Gandalf spends two magic points and casts Break Darkness, weakening Sauron's Mordor units.
Sauron Turn
The Lord of the Nazgul responds by spending two magic points
to cast a Fear spell, shaking the Westernesse morale.
Attacks by orcs in the southern half of Minas Tirith kill or
disrupt
all of Imrahil's terror-stricken men. In the northern half of the city,
the invaders set ladders to scale another city level abandoned by
the Gondor garrison.
Outside the city, the Fear also affects the Riders of
Rohan,
and the Harad horsemen are able to blunt their charge.
An attack by the Mordor cavalry, weakened by Gandalf's
spell, is hardly noticed.
Westernesse Turn
It's all over in the southern half of Minas Tirith except the killing.
In the northern half of the city, Gandalf and the men with him
prepare for a last stand against a wave of orcs.
The Riders of Rohan renew their charge and scatter or
slaughter nearly all of Sauron's cavalry.
